QuickReceipt
QuickReceipt is an offline-first receipt maker operated by wpggLabs. It does not require an account or login, and the records you create are stored locally on your device.
Last updated: July 16, 2026
Information Stored on Your Device
QuickReceipt stores receipt and sale details, passenger or customer details you enter, business or driver profile information, trip addresses, expenses, saved contacts and locations, unfinished drafts, preferences, and generated reports or exports in private app storage on your device.
Company logos and expense receipt photos are stored as local image files. wpggLabs does not operate a cloud database, sync service, or QuickReceipt backup server for this content.
Information Processed When You Use Optional Features
Core receipt creation, history, expenses, and reports work offline. Internet access is used only for optional purchases and subscription checks, typed address suggestions, user-triggered current-location address autofill, and content you explicitly share, email, send, export, or back up through another app or service.
Purchases, Subscriptions, and RevenueCat
Apple or Google processes QuickReceipt Pro payments. QuickReceipt does not receive payment card details.
RevenueCat validates purchases and manages subscription status. It may process a randomly generated anonymous app user identifier, store receipt or purchase-token information, subscription status, device type, and operating-system information. QuickReceipt does not link that identifier to an account because the app has no accounts.
Automatic or user-requested purchase restoration checks subscription status only; it does not send receipt records. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy/.
Location Search and Photon / OpenStreetMap
Rideshare mode has two optional, user-triggered address helpers. QuickReceipt does not track location in the background or use it for advertising.
Typed pickup or drop-off search text is sent to Photon at photon.komoot.io, a komoot GmbH geocoding service built on OpenStreetMap data. Photon receives the search text and ordinary request metadata such as an IP address; device coordinates are not sent to Photon.
After you tap the current-location control and grant foreground permission, Apple or Google operating-system services convert the device position into an address. You can deny or revoke permission and enter addresses manually.
Camera and Photos
Camera and photo access occurs only when you choose to photograph an expense receipt or select a company logo. Selected images are copied into private app storage and are not automatically uploaded.
An image leaves the device only when you export, share, email, or back it up through another app or service you choose. Camera and photo permissions can be denied or revoked without disabling the rest of the app.
Manual Backups and Imports
A manual backup can include receipts, sales, expenses, contacts, profiles, recent and favorite addresses, unfinished drafts, and preferences in one JSON file. Logo and receipt-photo binaries are not included, and subscription and anti-abuse state is intentionally excluded.
Backup files are not encrypted by QuickReceipt. You choose their destination and should verify that the destination saved the file. Restoring a backup replaces current local app data with the backup contents.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local app data remains until you delete it, replace it by restoring a backup, uninstall the app, or reset the device. Deleting the app without a backup may permanently remove that data.
Delete All Data removes user-created local data and app-owned logo and receipt-photo files. A small amount of non-receipt state may remain for purchase restoration, subscription entitlement, and free-tier abuse prevention; it contains no receipt, customer, or passenger content.
Apple, Google, and RevenueCat retain billing records under their policies. Previously exported or shared content must be deleted from its destination separately.
Analytics and Crash Reporting
The QuickReceipt mobile app contains no analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, advertising SDK, or tracking SDK. wpggLabs does not sell your data.
Apple, Google, the device operating system, RevenueCat, Photon, and apps or services you share with may process their own service, diagnostic, or usage data under their policies.
Security
Local storage reduces exposure to server breaches, but no system is completely secure. QuickReceipt does not encrypt its local app data or exported JSON backup files itself.
Security also depends on the device lock, operating-system backups, where exported files are stored, and the services used to share them. Use a device passcode or biometric lock and store backups in a trusted location.
Children's Privacy
QuickReceipt is not intended for children under 13, and wpggLabs does not knowingly collect or process data from children under 13.
International Users
App data remains on your device wherever you are. Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and komoot may process the limited information they receive in other countries under their own policies.
Changes to This Policy
Policy updates are reflected by changing the effective date and policy text. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
